Our Journey

Today, HungerHub is helping more people cook outdoors with ease, whether they’re seasoned adventurers or simply looking for a new way to enjoy time outside.

Because adventure doesn’t always mean travelling far. Sometimes it’s just stepping outside, switching off, and making the memories count.

Where the Idea Began

Like many good ideas, HungerHub started with a simple problem.

Spending time outdoors should feel easy. Whether it’s a weekend camping trip, a spontaneous beach day, or a quiet morning fishing by the water, being outside is about slowing down and enjoying the moment.

Spending time outdoors should feel easy. Whether it’s a weekend camping trip, a spontaneous beach day, or a quiet morning fishing by the water, being outside is about slowing down and enjoying the moment.

But when it came to cooking outdoors, it often felt anything but simple.

Packing endless equipment. Forgetting essential bits of gear. Carrying bulky setups that took longer to assemble than the meal itself.

It made us wonder - why should something so enjoyable feel so complicated?

That question became the starting point for HungerHub.

A Simpler Way to Cook Outdoors

Instead of multiple bags, boxes, and bits of equipment, everything would be brought together into one compact system.

Something practical, durable, and that you could simply grab and take anywhere.

More Than Just Cooking

For us, HungerHub has always been about more than just food. It’s about the moments that happen around it. Sunrise coffee by the lake. Cooking breakfast after a night under the stars. Sharing a meal on the beach as the sun goes down.

Those small moments often become the ones we remember the most.

The Founder's Story

Built From a Love of the Outdoors

Hi, I’m Stewart, founder of The Greatest Outdoor Company, and the inventor of Hungerhub. The Kitchen in a Bucket.

I’ve always loved being outside, and fishing has been my passion for
as long as I can remember. But after enough overnight stays, I realised a big problem: a lot of the gear I’d bought was overpriced and underbuilt - and when you’re out in the elements, that matters.

I started The Greatest Outdoor Company to change that. My aim is to design smart, practical camping products that are built to do the job and priced properly.

Hungerhub is where it all began. I wanted to make it easy to cook on the go, enjoy the day in nature, then return in the evening and make a great meal without hassle. The result is a 17-litre bucket kitchen - a one-stop solution that keeps everything together and ready when you need it.

All you do is add gas, and away you go.
